Pastor Jason Braaten, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Tuscola, IL, will be leading a workshop entitled How Do I Establish an All Male Acolyte Corps? Below is a description of the workshop.
We teach not only by what we say but by what we do. Our practice matters. In this sectional, attendees will learn how to go about establishing an all male acolyte corps so that our churches can raise up a future generation of strong Lutheran men, who know why and how we worship so that they will pass this on to their own families when they graduate from their service as acolytes to serve as Elders, Trustees, Sunday School Teachers, and members of the Boards of Christian Education or Mission and Evangelism.
