Pastor Jason Braaten, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Tuscola, IL, will be leading a workshop entitled The Pros and Cons of Becoming Involved in Your Community. Below is a description of the workshop.
A pastor in a small town and rural parish is a pastor also to the entire community. In this sectional, attendees will learn the pros and cons community involvement, and see that the pros outweigh the cons, so that when people in the community think of the Church and need it, they think of yours and seek out your pastoral counsel.
